MLBT is a publishing house based in Yorkshire, UK. We publish and produce books and comics in all genres and on a huge range of subjects.
Our focus in recent years has been on high quality children’s literature, particularly original fiction. We publish children’s books that kids WANT to read, rather than books that people feel they should read. Our aim to to get children engaging with books, enjoying books and stretching themselves when reading.
Unlike many publishing companies My Little Big Town does not stick rigidly to one particular type of book. We’re always on the look out for new and interesting manuscripts and ideas to develop, and in particular new talent. Artists and writers alike are welcome to submit their work for review. We produce books on many subjects and in a range of genre, from educational literature, picture books and children’s novels through to science fiction novels, horror, fantasy, fiction and non-fiction books, technical and specialist learning aids, as well as comics and graphic novels of all types and more recently e-books and digital comics.
Founded in 2006 by UK author and illustrator Calvin Innes, MLBT began its life as an illustration studio creating artwork and illustrations for individuals and companies around the world. Over the years we have grown into a highly innovative and exciting publishing company that prides itself on the quality of both our content and our manufacturing standards. MLBT now offers complete publishing solutions, designed and delivered by a team of experts. Our specialist in-house team allows us to create, develop, publish and market our titles in an original, innovative and effective way.

We understand how difficult it is to get your book published…
For first time authors it is notoriously difficult to get a publishers attention. Unless you have previous work published many new authors find it difficult to break into the publishing world. Here at My Little Big Town we aim to discover and nurture new talent. The MLBT ethos is simply to publish the highest quality books, be that from established authors or ‘newbies’ looking for their first break.
