Gorgeous George – Gorgeous George Hanson isn’t really all that gorgeous and not exactly handsome either. He goes to school in a town called Little Pumpington and he detests his evil teacher, Mrs Watt. George has a wicked sense of humour but he can’t understand why his school friends are so serious all the time; he’d rather laugh about bogies, bums and poo. George would prefer getting into scrapes with the only other person he knows who isn’t scared of trouble; his Grandpa Jock.
He might be a bit mad and his head is an ever-so-slightly-strange shape. His mouth turns down at one side. One of his eyes is just a bit lower than the other and his ears stick out, not much but just enough. You’d be mistaken for thinking that George looked like a badly put together Mr. Potato-Head. Gorgeous George is just a nickname that some stupid girls came up with but George doesn’t give a sh………I mean, doesn’t care much.
George is humorous, curious and stubborn; he’s usually right but doesn’t need to show off. Other people can prove how stupid they are just by opening their mouths.
Now George is in detention for arguing with his teacher (even though George was right) and his punishment involves working for the mad janitor, Mr Jolly. He’s about to discover a secret tunnel, a ton of false teeth and how to deafen yourself with bagpipes.
